The teacher understands how learners grow and develop and uses this understanding of individual differences, and diverse cultures and communities to design and create an environment for learning that enables learners to think and develop to meet expectations.
Even though, I was borned in Manhattan, New York, I’ve lived in Roanoke all my life.
I graduated from Roanoke College on May 3, 2003 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English.
I worked for City of Roanoke Department of Social Services for almost 12 years, then returned to school
to continue finish pursuing a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Licensure. I earned a certificate in Career Studies
for the Healthcare Coding Program at Virginia Western Community College on May 2020. Unfortunately,
the class of 2020 was unable to celebrate the graduation ceremony because of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
I enjoy spending time with my love ones and pets. I am seeking at licensure in 6th-12th grade level here
at Hollins University and plan to continue my career in Virginia.
